This terms and conditions agreement is in effect as of Jan 2024.
We reserve the right to change this User Agreement from time to time without notice. You acknowledge and agree that it is your responsibility to review this User Agreement periodically to familiarize yourself with any modifications. Your continued use of this site after such modifications will constitute acknowledgment and agreement of the modified terms and conditions. The customer agrees and understands that do not own the equipment and that any party rentals must be returned to Santa Clara Jumpers at the specific time mentioned on the first page of the rental agreement (Invoice).
The customer must make sure the setup site is ready, (i.e. lawns mowed, vehicles/obstacles out of the way, animal feces removed, setup location cleared, pathway cleared) before the driver is scheduled to arrive. If the site is not ready or accessible when the driver arrives, or if rented equipment cannot be moved directly on-site (extra handling involved) the customer may be charged an additional delivery fee. If the site is not prepared driver might be forced to leave and reschedule your delivery at a later time, in which case a delivery fee might be applied. Make sure you indicate the right place to our delivery driver to set up your equipment, once the inflatable is installed CAN NOT be moved; if it has to be moved for any reason an additional charge of $50 must be paid cash to the driver.
Underground Utilities: Please be ready to inform our driver of the existence of any underground utilities (i.e. phone lines, gas lines, septic system, etc.), that may interfere with the ability to stake and/or anchor equipment. The customer assumes responsibility for any damage to underground equipment, or landscaping resulting from equipment installation. Safety is our highest priority, so we recommended that you contact their Website Dig Alert or Call 811 before digging for more information.
SUPERVISION OF INFLATABLES AND PARTY RENTALS: The customer is responsible for supervising the safety and conduct of all participants using Santa Clara Jumpers products. Therefore, there should be a responsible and mature adult supervising the operation of the units at all times. The safety of all participants in units is the responsibility of the person supervising. All units come with safety instructions (usually located on the front of the unit), which need to be read and understood by any and all people supervising. Participants inside the units SHOULD NOT, AT ANY TIME, be allowed to do anything that is/are prohibited by the safety rules. Blatant disregard of the safety rules may result in physical injuries and/or additional fees for any food, silly string, or items not allowed.
Reservation Length:
We have three blocks of rental time first is for half day Up to 4 Hours Rental term, second is for 8 hours rental term and third one is from 3 to 7 hours (Park Rentals) these rentals terms are specific for summertime please note rentals term might change on wintertime. All rentals over 8 hours will be charged according to the number of hours rented. Earliest deliveries start at 7:30 am on the day of the event and can range to the customer’s desired delivery time. Pickups can range up to 1 ½ hours after the desired pickup time. It is required to have at least a 1 ½ hour window for delivery and pickup so drivers can make deliveries on time, otherwise, delivery and pickup times are NOT GUARANTEED. The latest pickup time is at 9 pm or sunset on sprint and summertime, the latest pickup might change in the wintertime since we have sunset early and the weather is unpredictable. If the event goes late into the night it is recommended to choose the overnight option (an additional fee might apply depending on the product rented), which we will then pick up the following morning between any time after 8:00 am.
Delivery Setup and Pickup:
We offer Free Setup and breakdown for all inflatables to our regular service area, (check Service Area for more information). Please note we do not offer customers pick up or will-calls services at this time. There is an additional charge for delivery and pick up (shipping) of all party rentals.
We guaranteed Delivery time at least 30 minutes before the start time of your event, however, deliveries will be made between 7:30 am and your reservation time (this is necessary in order to meet all customers’ requested reservation times). The person who made the reservation or who made the payment must be present during the time of delivery to sign the rental agreement and liability waiver. The customer is required to check the equipment rented and count all equipment received before the driver leaves because there is no guarantee that the driver can return before the pickup time. Deliveries for overnight orders are required to be scheduled for delivery no earlier than 12 pm -3 pm since it will be picked up the next morning.
Setup:
Inflatables can be set up on grass, concrete, asphalt, or hardwood (At no additional Charge). Cleaning fees apply for units to be set up on sand, dirt, mulch, gravel, or any other surface. customer MUST notify Santa Clara Jumpers during reservation. It is the Customer’s responsibility to ensure a large enough open space for setup. The customer is responsible for measuring their setup area to make sure the inflatable unit will fit. If upon delivery time, Santa Clara Jumpers discovers there is not enough space for setup, then a cancellation fee may be applied up to the full amount of the rental. Hills or slight inclines in the setup location should be a maximum of 5 degrees.
Gates and Pathways:
If an inflatable will be set up in a backyard there must be a minimum of 3.5 feet wide for all standard-size inflatables (13×14 ft) and 5-11 feet wide for Combos Slides, Obstacles Courses, Water Slides, or any other giant inflatable.
Stairs:
Customers MUST inform Santa Clara Jumpers of any stairs/steps present in the area of setup. A maximum of 3 stairs/steps is allowed for Bounce Houses, and 0 stairs/steps for larger inflatables. If steps surpass the maximum allowed there will be an additional fee (Since we might need to send a second person to help) or the reservation will be canceled, and a cancellation fee will be applied.
Dry Jumpers and Combos Slides:
All dry jumpers or combos’ slides must be returned completely dry, with no exceptions. If you wish to use the inflatable wet on a hot day you must notify Santa Clara Jumpers and a drying and cleaning fee of $50.00 – $100.00 (depending on the inflatable size) must be paid.
Water Slides:
Water slides require a regular garden hose (not provided) within range of the setup area. Water slides DO NOT come with mats or any cushions to be placed under the pool area, if the customer wishes to place mats for extra cushion; they need to provide it during the delivery time. Water should be turned off when the water slide or slip-n-slide is not being used.
Tables, Chairs, and Party Tents:
Delivery fees for tables and chairs are not included in the cost of renting the items. Unless rented with an inflatable, an additional drop off & pick up fee will be added depending on your delivery address to any order consisting of these items alone. Delivery of these items is only “front door delivery”. The items will be dropped off at the renter’s address, but not set up. The setup of these items is entirely the renter’s responsibility. We ask that the items be prepared for pick-up just as they were dropped off; that is to say that all tables, and chairs should be folded, stacked, and accessible as they were received. If you need set up and breakdown service, please ask for a quote.
Pickup:
Pickups will begin from your requested time, and not before, but can range up to 2 hours after (since drivers have more than one order, they may be delayed). If you are finished using the bouncers before the pickup time, you may simply unplug the unit until the driver arrives for pickup. If the driver is running late or should anything happen, you will be contacted immediately to be notified. Overnight pickups are done the next morning between 8 am – 2 pm; usually, the majority of the pickups are around 10:30 am — 2 pm.
Overnight rules:
A) Inflatable must be set up in a secure backyard.
B) Sprinklers System must be turned off during the inflatable stay under your responsibility.
C) Inflatable must be returned completely dry.
D) Customer is responsible to keep any pet away from the inflatable unit; and returning the inflatable to Santa Clara Jumpers
E) We request to turn the inflatable off when the party is over and turn it on in the morning, so the unit dries out to make it easy for our driver to pick it up and avoid drying and cleaning fees.
Santa Clara Jumpers has been in the party and event rental industry for over 14 years. We know how unpredictable Mother Nature can be and we wouldn’t expect you to pay for her unpredictability! Because of this, our weather policy is one that our customers have been satisfied with since we first started this business. If there is a chance of rain on your event day, we’ll mark the day as a raining day, giving you the opportunity to postpone, cancel or have the inflatable deliver.
We prefer that you wait until the day of the event to withdraw as the weather often improves as the day progresses, we understand that if you need to cancel your party due to the weather, you must make that decision no later than 5 pm the previous day.
You can give us a call any time to cancel your reservation, we’ll refund your full payment or deposit minus a $35 processing fee.
If you are looking to postpone your event a writing notification must be emailed to info@santaclarajumpers.com at least 5 days previously to the even date.
Your child’s safety is our main concern. We reserve the right to cancel due to heavy rain or high winds (Over 15 MPH).
If you have already submitted a deposit or full payment, the deposit will be applied toward a future event (Valid for 90 days after the day of cancelation). Please note to be able to reschedule your order with the same party rentals, we’ll need to check availability for your future day. If the sky is overcast or there is light rain (drizzle, sprinkle) and the wind is not higher that (15 MPH), we can still safety set up our bounce houses Inflatables.
However, if you choose to proceed with the party and have your inflatable delivered on a rainy day, due to the high cost of maintenance, there will be an additional charge of $50 to $100 (Depending on the size of the inflatables) for serving on rainy days.
This fee can be pay over the phone or cash only upon delivery. If by the end of the day, there was no rain, and the inflatable is completely dry at the time that gets picked up. We’ll notify you withing the next 3 business day if you qualify for refund.
Once you accept the equipment, payment is due upon delivery and the equipment is under your responsibility.
We recommend not turning off the blower at any time during rainy use until our driver comes back to pick up the equipment.
An inflatable attraction can still operate under the rain and a passing shower does nothing more than wet the unit. If that happens, DO NOT DEFLATE THE UNIT!!! Simply wait for the storm to pass, wipe down the unit with a towel, and continue with the fun! While that is our Inflatable rain policy, it is always important that you exercise caution when operating an inflatable and should always air on the side of caution and deflate the unit if you have any doubt about what to do, if there is high wind (15 MPH) and up turn off the inflatable.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
TO AVOID PENALTIES A 5 DAY WRITTED NOTIFICATION OF CANCELLATION IS REQUIRED (EXCEPT FOR WEATHER POLICY IN SUBSECTION A ABOVE) FOR A FULL REFUND.
Please note: if notification of cancelations is received withing 5 days before delivery day, we’ll refund your deposit or full payment but $35 for processing fees (This also apply for weather conditions cancelations).
OVERNIGHT RENTALS:
A) Lessee understands and acknowledges that the blower is to be removed from the Inflatable device and locked up in a secure location overnight, Initials.
At Santa Clara Jumpers, we accept more than one method to pay your order; here are the most popular ways to make your payment or deposit:
Zelle, Venmo and Apple-Pay:
It’s an easy and secure way to make a transaction from your bank account to our bank account and is completely free. If you used this app before, ask your bank to help you to set up your Zelle account and make your first transaction. We encourage you to try sending $1 dollars first to confirm that you are sending money to the right person.
Cash:
Please note: a deposit is required to secure your order, if you have placed your order online and select to pay cash upon delivery, we’ll send you an email requesting a deposit to secure and hold your party rentals.
Any balance is due cash only on delivery (COD).
The customer is requested to have the exact cash amount for the balance due since drivers do not carry change. Tips (gratifications) are always appreciated it by our staff.
Deposit:
A secure deposit or pay in full is required when placing an order through our website or over-the-phone rentals. If you would like to pay COD, a credit card will be required to be kept on file for security reasons. We authorize the card and void the authorization. We keep your credit card information secure and on file for 60 days in our system. We require credit card information for all rentals to be held on file for security reasons.
Credit Card:
All major credit cards are accepted. To pay by credit card please give us a call to provide your information. Credit card payments are subject to an additional 3.5% transaction fee.
Check:
All checks must be made to the name of Santa Clara Jumpers. Check must be mailed at least five business days before the date of the event. All returned checks will be subject to a $50 penalty fee. We do not accept checks upon delivery.
Collections:
After 90 days of the event date, any unpaid balance will be sent to collection. We’ll make our best effort to contact you via phone and email to notify you of any unpaid balances. If after 90 days, we still don’t get a reply back from the customer or payment made for outstanding balances due, then we will have to send the invoice to collections for further processing.
Please Note:
Customers must be present at the park at least 1 hour before the Start time of the event for the setup of the inflatable, our driver will be scheduled to meet you there within the next 30 minute.
Permits:
Customers should call the local city Park and Recreation Department to inquire about their rules and regulations prior to placing an order. Approved permits are required from the customer prior to the event date by most parks; some don’t require it, so please check with park officials to make sure. If a permit is required but the customer did not obtain it or falsified information, park officials may require the bouncer to be picked up during the event, in which case there will be no refund. The customer is responsible for obtaining and paying all permits. Most cities do provide electricity, so you are required to rent a generator to provide electricity for the inflatable. A copy of your approved permit must be emailed to us at: info@santaclarajumpers.com before your event date.
Insurance:
Santa Clara Jumpers has full liability insurance, we are licensed by the county of Santa Clara and deliver to all parks that allow inflatables. Parks require the applicant to acquire additional insurance from Santa Clara Jumpers for the bounce house rental. Customers should reserve at least 7 days before event day to allow time for processing the required insurance certification with the park. For all special paperwork like endorsements or waivers of subornation, please allow at least 1 week for processing your order. An additional fee of $45 applies for all park reservations.
Water Units:
Water units cannot be set up at a park since a dedicated water supply and water hose are required, something that parks don’t provide for their guests.
Electricity:
A 4,000-watt generator or higher capacity is required for all inflatables that are going to a park. Unless the city park facility provides electricity, and the customer has ensured there will be a dedicated 15-AMP circuit available. Please contact Santa Clara Jumpers to make sure you reserve the correct number of generators. If the customer opts to have their own generator, and not rent one from us, then powering the generator and ride will be entirely the customer’s responsibility and Santa Clara Jumpers will not be held liable if the generator does not work or does not provide adequate power. We advise all customers to rent a generator from us so we can make sure there will be sufficient power and no issues on the day of your event.

Mostly all concession machine rentals are tabletop machines and DO NOT come with a table/stand. The customer needs to provide a table or stand along with an extension cord. As a courtesy to our customers, we provide the first 50 servings completely free, if you need additional servings we can add it to your order at a regular price. Concession machines are very easy to operate, if you have any questions on how to operate the machine please contact us by phone. Santa Clara Jumpers also provides operation instructions on how to use the machines. Note: Snow Cone machine rental does not include ice cubes and should be provided by the customer (can be purchased from any supermarket). It is recommended to have about 40-50 pounds of cubed ice for every 50 servings.
Please Note: All concession machines must be operated by a responsible adult.
When reserving online, the customer is given 3 hours to proceed with checkout, otherwise, the order will be canceled once the time expires to clear product availability for another customer. Order will not be confirmed unless the customer goes through the checkout process and a deposit for 50% or pay in full is processed. Once the deposit is processed a confirmation email will be automatically sent to confirm the rental, but the order is not placed until a representative of Santa Clara Jumpers calls or email to confirm availability.
Please be aware: All online bookings incur a $35 credit card transaction fee, which is non-refundable if the order is cancelled for any reason.
Last Minute Booking:
Customers placing orders within 24 hours of the delivery time MUST call Santa Clara Jumpers offices at (408) 858-7505 to confirm rental since it is considered last minute. This confirmation call is required to have the product prepared for rental and have the driver assigned for delivery. The order may be canceled if the customer does not speak to anyone at Santa Clara Jumpers within the last 24 hours. It is advised to rent over the phone at (408) 858-7505 for last-minute orders.
Dispute Resolution:
The parties agree to mediate any dispute or claim arising between them out of this Agreement, or any resulting transaction, before resorting to arbitration. Mediation can be commenced by one party demanding it of the other. Mediation fees, if any, shall be divided equally among the parties. If any party commences an action without first attempting to resolve the matter through mediation or refuses to mediate within 30 days after a request has been made, then that party shall not be entitled to recover attorney’s fees, even if they would otherwise be available to that party in any such action. Any controversy or claim remaining unresolved after mediation shall be settled by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association in accordance with its Commercial Arbitration Rules, and judgment on the award rendered by the arbitrator(s) may be entered in any court having jurisdiction thereof. Any party filing a complaint in a court of law which is ruled to be properly venue in arbitration may, at the discretion of the arbitrator, owe the other party for any attorney fees incurred for moving it properly to arbitration.
